We have taught & guided children through to adulthood for 83 years and are happy to include you into the Alethean family.
The Junior School follows the National Curriculum for English Medium Subjects and the Cambridge Syllabus for International Students. The Junior School works to identify each child's individual strengths while ensuring that the student learns to overcome any weakness in subject areas. It also encourages camaraderie and working as a
whole while developing specific skills in arenas students are interested in. The Junior School also encourages games leading to sports and tournaments at all levels. Students participate in games and sports at school level and National level bringing credit both to themselves and their team.
The Middle School furthers the Junior Schools initiation by enhancing individual students' skills. Thus the Middle School children are entered into National and International School programmes and competitions. Alethea now
boasts winners in most categories of talent spotting and skills. The Middle School actively participates in Sports at every arena and in every category while also having a competitive scouting programme to further life skills.
Academics here take priority with either Cambridge O/Levels, Edexel A/Levels for International Students or the National curriculum subjects being offered for both O/Level and A/level subjects. Alethea boasts accreditation in both these streams. Our results speak for themselves and thus students leave Alethea well able to
succeed in an adult environment. Aletheans achieve competitive places in foreign and local universities for science, Math, Commerce and the Arts while some opt to enter a working environment. Alethea applauds all of them because they are the leaders of the contemporary world.
Education Resource Unit
This unit is managed by two qualified teachers; Mrs. Nilu Jeevaratnam and Ms. Samantha Van Vyck. Most of the students facilitated by this section are from the Primary. Parents are very satisfied with the work done in this section and there is a constant demand to accommodate new entrants who we have to turn down due to non-availability of space and our own decision to keep classrooms small to maintain a good student teacher ratio where most of the time teaching is done on a one to one basis.
