The Art Club's first activity was the decor for the Christmas party followed by the New Year festival. Students painted banners and made Gok-kola decorations while also decorating class rooms thematically.
The stage decor for the Annual Bakthi- Gee Program held at the Jayasinghe Hall Dehiwala added a lot of color to the event.
• Aletheans emerged 1st, 2nd and 3rd in different
categories at the International Art and Crafts Contest-
2009 organized by Fevicryl Pvt Lmt.
• Students participated in the All Island Art Competition
organized by the Ministry of Education.
• They took part in "Spectral Expressions" organized by
Burhani Serendib School Bambalapitiya.
• Students visited the Art Exhibition at the National Art
Gallery on 19th & 20th June 2010. The other events in
which Aleheans took part were,
- The HNB Art competition,
- The Competition held to develop an awareness of
Anti-Narcotics,
- The Alethea Art Competition for the Prize Giving,
- Art competition organized by UN club and
- The "Hobby Fair 2010" held at the Convention hall
