The Alethea Drama Club teemed forces with Cambridge Examinations and Trinity Guildhall to present a new and dynamic competition at an All Island level amongst the national and international schools. Entries were judged at International level by Trinity College Examiners. Alethea competed with an excerpt from King Lear trained by Mr. Indu Dharmasena and was placed Runners up while our very own Vibooshan Dyanaranjan
walked away with the trophy for Best Actor. Mr. Ian Chambers Regional Representative Cambridge International Examinations was Chief Guest at the Award Ceremony. Our sincere gratitude to Ms. Nirmali Hettiarachchi of CIE, Ms. Romola Sivasundaram Sri Lanka representative Trinity Guildhall, the team from Academy of English, and the English Department and Prefects Guild of Alethea.
