Pets Day is a very enjoyable and fun-filled day for the primary. Students from all classes bring in their very own pets and display charts with pictures and information are displayed about their pets. The garden is used for the bird cages & tortoises, while the rabbits are free to run around the lawn.
This event is held to incorporate a part of the school's curriculum, & communication activities of daily living. All students bring in their own goods and are expected to market it themselves using colourful charts and pictures. The students with the highest earnings are recognized at the weekly general assembly.
Swimming - Is held at Fingara Club, Boralesgamuwa, to promote Swimming among the young Alethean's.
Home Science - A day of fun with washing, cleaning, painting, making handy craft items, dancing & singing were conducted, away from the text books & daily lessons. .
A delighted programme was held to entertain the grandparents, started with religious observations from all religions. Items from all classes of singing, dancing, recitation and drama were presented to entertain the Grand Parents. Tokens were presented to all Grand Parents on arrival and a special song was sung.
A book project to encourage the children to read more and to build their own class library was begun. Library Day was enjoyed thoroughly by students, presenting dramas, reciting poems and reading out stories.
Alethea School Graduation is held during the month of December, ending the school academic year for Grade 4 Students, amidst a presentation of a colourful evening of song and dance.
The Nursery organized a 'Halloween Day' for the kids where they came dressed in different attires to suit the occasion & had great fun.
The Christmas Party was held for the Primary and Junior students. during December at the Fingara Town & Country Club, Boralesgamuwa.
Clothing, Footwear, Toys, Stationery & Dry Rations were collected and distributed to a Pre-School organization in Jaffna to help the needy.
As for an outing the students of Grade 1, 2 & 3 were taken on an excursion to the 'Museum' coinciding with the 'History Day', while the Nursery kids visited the Zoo.
Were carried out along with the senior students at the Senior School premises. The traditional sweet meats of Sinhala / Tamil were served. It also comprised traditional Avurudu games
The Primary Students presented a spectacular pageant of children from the Continents dressed in their different national costumes.
