The year has been quite eventful for the busy Alethean members of the U.N. Club. On October 24, 2009, ten members with the Faculty Advisor participated in the National U.N.Day Celebrations held at Royal College, Colombo. Program was organized to educate the Student Co-ordinators on the theme 'Human Trafficking' done by the U.N. and its efforts to combat it from 3rd to 5th November 2009.

SLMUN - 2010 held in August 2010 held at Waters' Edge Hotel, Battaramulla, organized by the Study Circle Program of the United Nations Association of Sri Lanka.
The club organized Poster and Essay Competitions at School level which was held in. The topics taken for the Competitions were, Human Trafficking, Child Labour and Domestic Violence. The enthusiasm of the students in both sections was encouraging and showed a keen awareness of the said social problems.
